In letzter Zeit arbeite ich mit Alltagsobjekten, die mich persönlich faszinieren. Die Bedeutung oder Funktion dieser Objekte sind für mich nicht wichtig. Ich male sie in ihrer tatsächlichen Größe und erlaube mir selbst keine andere Perspektive oder illusionären Hintergrund. Alles was man sehen kann findet sich auf der Oberfläche der Leinwand wieder, mehr nicht. Der Bildaufbau vollzieht sich nach gewissen geometrischen Prinzipien, beinahe abstrakt. Die Darstellung der leicht erkennbaren Objekte bringt diese wieder auf den Boden der Realität zurück. Ich bin interessiert an der Spannung zwischen den normalen Dingen, die Teile des Alltags sind, und dem Kunstwerk, das eine Art erhabenes Objekt darstellt. „Dienende“ und „bediente“ Gegenstände erhalten die gleiche Aufmerksamkeit. In meiner Ausstellung in der Strabag Artlounge möchte ich auch ältere Werke mit Abhandlungen von Alltagskultur zeigen. Alice Nikitinová

Recently I am working with everyday objects, which personally fascinate me. The meaning or function of those objects are not so important. I paint them in real size and dont allow myself any perspective or illusionary background. What you see is on the surface of the canvas, and nothing more. I build the images using certain geometrical principles, almost as abstraction. The depiction of the easily recognizable objects brings them back to the ground. I am interested in the tension between the common stuff, which is part of our daily routine, and the art stuff, which is meant to be kind of festive object. Serving and served items appear on the same level of attention. For the exhibition at Strabag Artlounge I plan to show some older works dealing with low culture imaginary. Alice Nikitinová
