Anemona Crisan (Bucharest 1980) studied at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna and also completed studies in art history in Innsbruck and Vienna. Crisan's medium is drawing; starting from this, she creates works on paper and canvas, but also room-filling installations. The artist is predominantly interested in the interplay between architecture, space and body, which she also dealt with in her book "The Anatomy of Space," published in 2014. For STRABAG, Crisan designed the artistic concept for a wall work that was implemented along the 110-meter-long corridors on the 3rd and 4th floors of Tech Gate Vienna in Vienna's Donau-City. Using acrylic painting and glass-foil printing, the artist created a system of diagonally running, colored lines that change the sense of space and perception, structuring the seemingly endless corridor. In the reception area of Tech Gate Vienna, another of Crisan's works shows three figures connected by architectural elements.
