Ute Müller (Graz 1978) studied painting at the University of Applied Arts Vienna and at the Royal College of Art in London. In 2015 she received a recognition of the STRABAG Artaward International. "Ute Müller's work fluctuates between stability and instability. Different levels of interpretation can be applied one next to the other and independently; they all influence the viewers' journey through the exhibition space. The result is a multi-perspectival game where imagination and reality are intertwined, where poetry and narrative are kept in balance by more physical, pragmatic needs, and where the human being is still at the center, oscillating between illusion and reality."
